Rainkiss rainwear is made from 100% certified recycled polyester, which is very different from virgin polyester. Recycled polyester uses PET (plastic bottles) as the raw material. Recycling these bottles into new material so it doesn’t end up in landfills

The facts

Recycled Polyester
The goal is to replace the one-use plastic as a waterproof material and recycled polyester allows us to build a lightweight material, that dries quickly and has lasting qualities, while reducing our dependence on virgin petroleum.
PFAS Free Waterproofing
Rainkiss Rain Ponchos are cut to perfection with taped seams and are a 100% waterproof with a 7000mm water proof column. We use a PFAS FREE waterproof coating. Completely, eliminating the need for the use of these pesky forever chemicals.
20 Bottles 1 Poncho
Every Rainkiss Poncho uses over 20+ recycled PET bottles. Rainkiss aims to create product that leaves nominal waste, consumes limited energy and water, and causes very little pollution, while supporting workers rights, fair wages, circularity and climate change initiatives.
One-Size
One-Love
Our one-size system limits the amount of returns we receive, drastically reducing the amount of issues with fit, sizing or ordering the incorrect one. Return packages leave a trail of pollution, and yes... Some even end up in landfill so we think keeping it simple goes a long way We are proud of our 3% return rate (industry standard is 20%+) which saves the planet a lot of unnecessary shipping, packaging and pollution.
